This is an important question , because my husband and I debate this EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR. No kidding.
He wants to start the Christmas tunes basically as soon as the weather changes…I maintain that one must dutifully celebrate ALL the holidays, so I prefer to wait until the day AFTER Thanksgiving.
Now…..
I say all this about waiting for it….BUT…You’ll notice that the studio is starting to be decorated for the holidays.
WHY? you ask….
That’s because, for the 6th year (or is it 5th, I’m having trouble remembering!!) we, as a Thrive Tribe are adopting a family for the holidays from our friends at The Chambliss Center for Children.
We have adopted a single mom with two children. Chambliss is a local non-profit that supports single parents as they try to improve their lives (and the lives of their children) through education and trade training. Chambliss has been helping bring holidays to children in our area for years, and Thrive is so excited to be a small part of this endeavor.
As a Family, we have, year after year, super abundantly blessed these families with their wish lists, their needs and even more!
If you would like to be a part of this tradition, come into the studio (starting next week) and grab an ornament off the tree. Each ornament will have an item marked on it that our family is in need of. Please bring the unwrapped item in to the studio before December 3rd. My children AKA Thrive’s littles elves will help me deliver it to Chambliss and we can all share in the joy and excitement of giving.
