Get in Shape for the Kentucky Derby with Yoga and Pilates (and a Mint Julep)

The Kentucky Derby is coming up, and you know what that means: it’s time to break out the big hats, fancy dresses, and of course, the mint juleps.

But before you indulge in all that Derby Day has to offer, let’s talk about how you can get in shape with some yoga and Pilates.

I know what you’re thinking, “Yoga and Pilates? That sounds like work, and I just want to enjoy the race!” But hear me out. If you start your yoga and Pilates practice now, you’ll be looking and feeling your best when the NEXT Derby arrives. Plus, you’ll be able to stretch out those legs after a long day of standing in high heels (or fancy loafers for you gents.)

Yoga and Pilates are great for toning your muscles, improving your flexibility, and reducing stress. And let’s face it, with all the excitement and adrenaline that comes with the Kentucky Derby, you’re going to need a way to chill out. So why not try some yoga or Pilates to help you relax?

But don’t worry, you don’t have to give up your mint juleps. Just think of it as a reward for all your hard work on the mat. After all, balance is key, right?

So grab your mat, put on some comfy clothes, and let’s get ready to sweat (and sip). Who knows, maybe we’ll even get some of those jockeys to join us in a class. I hear they’re looking for ways to improve their core strength.

We hope to see you on the mat (or at the track) soon!
