I have been practicing yoga for over 6 years at Yoga East. I became interested in yoga because I was trying to find a natural way to relieve some pain I was having in my lower back instead of going to a doctor and having to take pills. At first I was only practicing once or maybe twice per week and after a while I noticed that I was having less pain and discomfort in my back, that’s all it took for me to get hooked on yoga. I increased my practice to 4-5 days per week and I liked the way it made me feel. Every time I left the mat I felt so calm and peaceful. Eventually I started taking classes to become a certified yoga instructor so I could expand my knowledge and be able to help others the same way that my instructors helped me. I would love to help as many people as possible to experience the tranquility that yoga provides. I can say one thing with absolute certainty, you will leave feeling better than when you came in.
