About Stephanie Chance:

I began practicing yoga as a stress relieving practice, finding healing in the movement and breath. Yoga and movement led me to Pilates and exploring biomechanical movement and core focused exercise. I teach kundalini yoga, gentle flow, yin yoga, and Pilates matwork. I enjoy quie time in the outdoors and worked as an Aquatic Biologist, specializing in freshwater fishes and mussels, for many years. I enjoy snorkeling, paddle boarding, hiking, reading, and crocheting. My spiritual name-Shantpreet Kaur-means the princess/lioness of God who is filled with peace and calmness as she shines with the loving light of the divine. "It says that I connect with my soul by finding my loving peaceful center and focusing my consciousness there."

I completed my initial 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2013 at the Asheville Yoga Center, and a second 200-hour certification from the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) in 2015. I'm currently pursuing a 500-hour certification through KRI focused on kundalini yoga and a comprehensive Pilates certification. I love incorporating gong sound healing and laughter into my classes.
