Do you like to work on balance?
If you’re like most people, probably not.
Curiously though, as we age, balance becomes one of the biggest things we SHOULD work on because the fear of falling grips 26-55% of aging individuals.
You don’t have to be one o those people. In today’s free home yoga sequence, we build heat and strength while working on balance transitioning between Airplane (or Warrior 3) and Half Moon and then into revolved half moon with a slightly different alignment cue.
Notice how playing with traditional alignment cues, you can truly create a sustainable, life stabilizing practice
This quick yoga practice will leave you feeling stretched and strengthened, and I hope will allow you to find ways for you to focus on not just your Gluteus Maximus but also the min and med, which are really responsible for stability in the hips and can help improve overall balance and control.
