What’s Makes The Mommy Bounce Back Online Yoga Program Unique?

First of alll, I want to thank you guys for your great response to the pre-launch of my new Thrive Online “Mommy Bounce Back” program! As anyone who’s a member of our local (Chattanooga) studio knows, Thrive Yoga and Wellness has undergone a HUGE transformation recently, and our entire community is truly living a life that Thrives!  Our new expanded space should be open within the next 2-3 weeks (fingers crossed!) and I want to address a question that many people would ask–especially if they aren’t part of our “live” studio family–and that is,

“Why in the world would you start up a “PAID” online program when there is already so much “FREE” yoga material already available on the Internet, and there are already well-established “paid” sites that have tons of videos to watch?”

The simple answer: mine are different.

I’m different from most yoga teachers. My background and experiences are different, and my approach is different than most. For those of you who don’t already know me, I got into yoga in response to a back injury. I was already an MBA working in the corporate world. I’ve also served as an adjunct professor teaching online business courses at the university level. I left the corporate world after 15 lucrative and successful years to start my own yoga studio a couple of years ago.

If you come to one of my live studio sessions, you’ll quickly learn that I TEACH–I don’t just demonstrate positions and lead routines. I’m big on personal attention–paying attention to what my students are actually doing. I stress that approach for all the teachers in my studio. If you come to my studio and are doing something incorrectly, I or one of my teachers will tell you, and guide you into the correct practice. That guidance is incredibly important and critical on many levels. I carry that approach over into the virtual world of online sessions and teaching, because it makes the most of your time and effort, giving you the greatest results while (most importantly) keeping you from hurting yourself.

Instead of just leading you in a routine, I go out of my way to explain why I’m telling you whatever I’m telling you to do, and why it’s important, and what will happen if you don’t do whatever it is correctly. If you practice with me online, it’s like getting a personal, one-on-one session with me–and you’re always welcome to email or text me with questions.

Think that’s not important? My mom hurt her knee exercising without guidance, got bad advice and direction, and ended up having to have the same knee replaced twice. She’s an extreme case, but it shows what can happen. Trust me, you don’t want that, and it can be avoided.

So pass this on to your family and friends–and especially the mothers you know! We’ll be continually adding to the Thrive Mommy Bounce Back Program, and we’re preparing other specialized programs right now, so stay tuned, and keep in touch!
